The NBA is celebrating its 75th season, and teams are unveiling the newest editions of their city jerseys. As we’ve seen in the past, some teams can hit a home run with their city uniforms, while others miss the boat entirely.
Here are the Top 5 city uniforms this season.
Honorable Mention: San Antonio Spurs

These jerseys need to be celebrated even if they didn’t crack my Top 5. The San Antonio Spurs have once again delivered with their City Edition uniforms. The pink and green have long been missing from the usually stale Spurs uniforms.
Make these the everyday uniforms, please?
5. Milwaukee Bucks

The worst thing the Milwaukee Bucks ever did as a franchise was getting rid of the purple in their logo and uniforms. Now with their new City Edition uniforms, purple is welcomed back into the fold. The new jersey is an excellent callback to the days of Glen Robinson and Ray Allen.
Thank you for bringing back the purple, Milwaukee.
4. Atlanta Hawks

What could be considered an eyesore to some is beauty to others. The Atlanta Hawks have really hit a home run with this look. Thankfully, the Hawks tossed their highlighter yellow color a few years ago and returned to a more classic look with their normal uniforms. These City Edition uniforms are easily one of the best looks in the lead.
3. Dallas Mavericks

This was a tough decision, and maybe one I’ll regret later for not ranking higher. However, the Dallas Mavericks have brought straight fire to their City Edition uniforms. Bringing back an older look that fans have long wanted to see again. The Mavericks have definitely made up for the eyesore from last year.
2. Houston Rockets
A jersey that represents #Rockets history. π

The pinstripes are back in Houston, people! This look is THE look for the Houston Rockets. A team destined to be one of the worst in the league this season will have no problem looking their best when they take the court in these City Edition uniforms.
1. Charlotte Hornets
That legendary purple and teal. The OG pinstripes. The classic Hornets logo. π₯

There isn’t another jersey in this year’s batch that will top what the Charlotte Hornets have brought to the table. The Hornets have unveiled the best jersey of the season. A celebration of the entire franchise’s history. Including the dreadful Charlotte Bobcats seasons. The Hornets are finally number one. That counts for something, right?
