Lane Kiffin did not hold back when it came to responding to comments made by Pardon the Interruption host Mike Wilbon on Tuesday evening.
Wilbon ripped into Kiffin ahead of the No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels’ meeting with the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend. calling the Rebels second-year coach a “clown” and “embarrassment” during his rant.
“Lane Kiffin is a clown. Lane Kiffin has been an embarrassment at multiple stops. I mean no one is going to run out there and say ‘I want Lane Kiffin right here on the logo representing me,'” Wilbon said.
“Lane Kiffin equals embarrassment at some point wherever he is.”
Kiffin caught wind of the comments and wasted no time firing back with some comments of his own.
So 😡. Geez. I’ll 🙏 for you. Life is to short to be so angry. @PTI https://t.co/hBTwepwN2y

In a follow-up tweet, Kiffin mocked Wilbon for picking the heavily-favored Crimson Tide in the matchup.
“And way to go out on a limp and pick the number one team in the country at home who is a huge favorite,” Kiffin wrote. “How long did you watch film to come up with that surprise pick??? Really News worthy captain obvious.”
Twitter is a better place when Lane Kiffin is active.
As for the game in Tuscaloosa, Alabama is a 14.5-point favorite. Whether Lane and company can continue to shock the world — or at least cover the spread — will be known in a matter of days.
Kickoff between the two undefeated SEC squads is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
