In the opening game of the NFL season, fans were treated to a dandy of a game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took it home with a late field goal, but one of the biggest stories was the elite play of Dak Prescott. Dak deserves his credit, and after a long layoff, Prescott is proving he belongs along with the elites of the game.

While the 44-year-old GOAT of the NFL picked up right where he left off last season, the unanswered question everyone wanted to know was if Dak Prescott could return from a gruesome injury and be elite. Any doubts that anyone had about Prescott’s return quickly evaporated as the returning quarterback went step for step with the reigning Super Bowl MVP.
It didn’t end in a win, but what a return for Dak Prescott. 🎯🏈#Kickoff2021 | #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/4iE5Qy8GfK

While the Cowboys fell short on the scoreboard, fans of the team can’t help but see a win with how Prescott performed last night. The Cowboys QB threw for 403 Yds and 3TDs and led the team down for what would have been the game-winning drive if Tom Brady and a crucial no-call led the Buccaneers to a game-winning field goal.
No win for Dallas but…
Their receivers lived up to the hype and @dak returned healthy and worth every penny of the deal so many thought he wasn’t worthy of receiving.

Not including the game, he was injured in last year. Prescott has thrown for over 400 Yds in his last four games, accumulating 11TDs in the process. Prescott showed again on Thursday night that he possesses elite-level talent at the QB position, and fans have yet to see his best.
