On Monday, reports surfaced that Sonya Curry, the mother of Golden States Warriors superstar Steph Curry, had filed for divorce from Dell Curry after 33 years of marriage.
TMZ Sports shared the news and a few details about the situation.
“Steph Curry’s parents are going their separate ways … TMZ Sports has learned Sonya Curry has filed for divorce from Dell Curry. 55-year-old Sonya put in the paperwork back on June 14 in North Carolina … according to court records,” the TMZ report read. “A court official tells us the divorce is still ongoing. Details surrounding the reason for the split are unclear — we’re working on it.”
