Coach Prime Documentary Gives Behind-the-Scenes Look At Deion Sanders’ First Year At Jackson State

Deion Sanders’ first season as head coach at Jackson State will be coming to a screen near year.

Barstool Sports and SMAC Productions teamed up for a documentary series appropriately titled Coach Prime which gives a behind-the-scenes look at the Pro Football Hall of Famer’s debut season with the Tigers.

In the trailer for the series, Sanders can be seen bringing plenty of stars like Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman and former New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan into the locker room to speak with his players.

“I am incredibly proud to share the incredible story of Jackson State University, our football program, and our student-athletes,” Sanders said about opening up and allowing all-access for the docuseries, according to TMZ Sports.

“This docuseries serves as a platform that will help us continue the important work we are doing to level the playing field, create opportunity and raise awareness for JSU and all HBCUs. I BELIEVE!”

The six-part series is set to debut on August 29.
