Listen, we all know that beer prices will be inflated at the airport. But that’s okay. We just want to have a few ice-cold beverages to calm the nerves before hopping into a hunk of metal that will be flying through the sky.
However, whatever is going on at LaGuardia Airport in New York is downright criminal.
A Twitter user shared a photo on Twitter that shows the menu from one of LaGuardia’s bars and the prices are outrageous. The cheapest beer you can get is a $13 (!!!) Michelob Ultra, while an Angry Orchard is nearly $16.
Then, you see the true monstrosity which is a whopping $28 for a Samuel Adams Summer Ale.
lol at all of this, including the additional 10% “COVID Recovery Fee” that doesn’t go to workers pic.twitter.com/Bq9rHJqek7

According to Michael Marchese, an OTG spokesperson, the price was incorrect due to a glitch. The prices were initially set for 23oz pours and were immediately corrected.
“Because of these posted-pricing hiccups, our in-house menu teams have been diligently working to ensure pricing across all restaurants are, in fact, rendering correctly,” he noted. “We know this market is expensive enough already, so we’re committed to everything we can do to ensure reasonable prices for our customers.”
Twitter detectives come through for the good of humanity again.
