A new video has emerged that shows Conor McGregor shouting at Dustin Poirier following the main event of UFC 264 as doctors tend to his gruesome leg injury.
In the video, McGregor can be seen and heard going beyond acceptable trash talk by threatening to kill Poirier and his wife, Jolie, in their sleep. Poirier said following the event that he hoped behind-the-scenes footage would be released to show some of McGregor’s threats, and now the video is making the rounds on social media.
“In your sleep, you’re getting it,” McGregor shouted across the cage. “In your sleep you’re dead! You and your Mrs., it ain’t over!”
McGregor also made a gun motion with his hand.

Poirier acknowledged the threats during his backstage interview.
“I hope they show that behind-the-scenes stuff, man. He was still sitting on the ground, still saying I’m going to kill you, putting his hands to his head like a gun. Like bro, chill out! Chill out,” Poirier said, as transcribed by Bloody Elbow. “I’m trying my best to not take this personal,” he said. “but you don’t say that type of shit to people. You don’t say that you’re going to kill somebody. I don’t take that lightly.”
So I just looked back at the broadcast and this seems to be what caused Joe Rogan (who looked shocked at what he was hearing) to turn to Conor in the middle of the interview.

McGregor’s trash talk used to be jovial and comical.
Now, it’s just becoming sad.
With the win over McGregor, Dustin Poirier has earned a shot at lightweight champion Charles Oliveira in a bout that is expected to take place by the end of the year.
McGregor, meanwhile, drops to 3-4 since beating Jose Aldo for the featherweight championship in 2016. McGregor has won just one fight in the past five years and is just 1-4 in the UFC at 155-pounds.
