Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva made his return to boxing over the weekend at ‘Tribute to the Kings’ in Guadalajara, Mexico. Silva took on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and showed flashes of “The Spider” of old.

Ultimately, Silva earned a split decision victory over the Mexican fighter.

Following the fight, there was immediate discussion about what could be next for Silva. YouTuber Jake Paul wasted no time saying he’d love Silva vs. Roy Jones Jr. on the undercard of his upcoming fight against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

Not only did Silva say he appreciated the offer and respected the Paul brothers, he said he’d be open to fighting them, and “maybe” a bout with Logan Paul could be next for him.

“Wow – yes, absolutely,” Silva told MMA Junkie. “I respect both. I have a great relationship with both brothers, and yeah, I think this is possible, too. That’s entertaining. It’s a fight, but it’s entertaining. Logan and his brother are amazing guys. The people like to talk a lot about the guys, but they’re very good people. I respect both, and I respect the sport.

“I think everything’s possible. I think it’s the next fight may be with Logan Paul, maybe.”

Logan Paul recently fought Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout and went the distance. Whether he’d be open to challenging himself against another combat sports great for a major payday remains to be seen.

Jake Paul, meanwhile, is 3-0 as a professional boxer and will take on Woodley on August 28.
