Over the weekend, Bolivian boxer Saul Farah was defending his title against Pedro Tabares when all hell broke loose inside of the ring.
According to Bloody Elbow, Farah (73-26-3) was likely behind on the cards when he ate a heavy punch from Tabares and was dropped in the sixth round.
Rather than admiring his good work, Tabares beginning pounding Farah as he was laying on the mat before repeatedly stomping on the champion’s head. Farah retained his title by disqualification.

That’s not the best way to impress promoters — especially when the person you are stomping is beloved on the regional scene.
