Julio Jones dropped a bit of a bomb on Monday morning during Fox Sports 1’s debate show Undisputed with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe.
While discussing the Jones trade rumors, Sharpe picked up his phone and dialed Julio before asking him about what was going on.
Jones went on to say “I’m out of there, man” when referring to the Falcons and also stating that he had no desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys — despite being spotted in a Cowboys shirt — because he “just wants to win.”
The awkward part of Jones being so open is that it seems like he may not have even known that he was live on television.
Here is the exchange:

Jones previously requested a trade from the Falcons so it is no surprise that he is hoping to move on, but it does raise some eyebrows that he was so up front about what was going on behind the scenes. Hopefully Shannon Sharpe didn’t do him dirty.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport tried to provide some context adding, “[Jones] requested a trade from the organization a few months ago, sources say, and the team then agreed to listen to offers. That’s how it began and why it continues.
This is why Julio Jones told Shannon Sharpe he’s “out of there.” Because he knows he requested a trade and the team is open to considering it. But it doesn’t mean he will get traded. https://t.co/2F0aFeSr5o

You have to love the NFL; where the drama never ends.
