It looks like Tim Tebow’s NFL career is about to be resurrected.
After reports previously surfaced that he had worked out for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end, new reports say Tebow is expected to sign a one-year deal with the franchise.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network shared the news.
The #Jaguars are planning to sign QB-turned-TE Tim Tebow to a 1-year deal, per me and @TomPelissero, a deal that could be official in the next week or so. Nothing done yet. But he’ll have a chance to make the team to reunite with his mentor and college head coach Urban Meyer.

New Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer coached Tebow at the University of Florida and the two brought home two national championships together.
Whether a reunion on the Jaguars ultimately leads to an active roster spot remains to be seen, but don’t be surprised if he ends up landing an advisory role at the bare minimum.
