One of the biggest MMA stars is open to going on the biggest podcast in the world.

Taking to social media, former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor told his followers that he “would love” to go on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast for a lengthy conversation with the UFC commentator.

McGregor was answering fan questions when he shouted out Rogan for always being supportive of him before he had even become the biggest star in the sport.

“I’d love to! I feel at some stage we should! I’ve a lot of respect for Joe,” McGregor wrote on Twitter. “He shouted me out before anyone else in the UFC also. Before I had signed with the company.”

If McGregor did make an appearance, it would be one of the most in-depth looks into “Notorious” and provide an update of what he’s been up to throughout the last few rocky years.

McGregor is set to return to action at UFC 264 in Las Vegas against Dustin Poirier with fans allowed in attendance.

Following their last fight at UFC 257 in which McGregor was knocked out in the second round, the brash Irishman said he picked the wrong opponent while looking towards a boxing match against Manny Pacquiao that is now off of the table.

And after watching the fight back, McGregor began looking for a trilogy fight “for all the marbles” against Poirier in the future.

“[One] a piece [sic] now with a Trilogy bout for all the marbles!” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “Not a trilogy I was expecting, nor the tactical affair I was anticipating, but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t meant to be. This is exactly how this was always meant to be!

“A little single disciplined in my approach and stance with mostly boxing. It’s what I get for picking this bout and opponent as a precursor to a boxing match against Pacman. I deserved to get the legs kicked off me going in with this thinking.”

McGregor is getting that wish, now we’ll have to wait and see if an invitation to Rogan is on the way.
