Tim Tebow has done a little bit of everything during his athletic career. He’s won a Heisman Trophy, national championship, was a first-round NFL Draft pick, minor league baseball player, and personal punt protector, but now he could be adding something else to his resume.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tebow reached out to the Jacksonville Jaguars about potentially reuniting with his former head coach Urban Meyer.
In fact, Tebow had enough interest in the team that he has worked out with the team’s tight end coach in an attempt to resurrect his career.
Tim Tebow recently reached out to the Jaguars and requested a tryout at the tight end position, per sources, a move many believe would have extended his NFL career had he made the transition earlier. He recently worked out with the Jaguars’ TE coach. No decision has been made.

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport adds “there has been at least some discussion of him signing.”
Could Tebow really be making an NFL comeback?
Sure, it seems wild, but Tebow is very familiar with Urban Meyer. And based on personalities off of the field, Tebow and projected No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence could relate on a lot of levels outside of football which could help Tebow serve as a mentor as Lawrence transitions to the pros.
It definitely seems like a long shot, but it’s something that will be worth watching.
