Caleb Farley is one of the top players in the 2021 NFL Draft class and was scheduled to attend the annual player selection this week as the league welcomes players back to the in-person event.
Unfortunately, his plans have changed.
According to a report from Pro Football Talk, the former Virginia Tech Hokies star has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be able to attend.
Per agent Drew Rosenhaus, Farley is asymptomatic and feeling fine, but must quarantine at home rather than traveling.
“Caleb Farley tested positive for Covid 19 yesterday on a test administered by the NFL,” Rosenhaus said.
“He is totally asymptomatic and feels completely normal. However he won’t be allowed to attend the draft in Cleveland.”
The 86th annual NFL Draft will be held across three days from April 29 to May 1.
This year’s draft will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, incorporating FirstEnergy Stadium, the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, and the Great Lakes Science Center.
