The Cincinnati Bengals unveiled their new-look uniforms for the upcoming season and beyond that feature a makeover to the team’s stripes.

Cincinnati went with a minimalist look that was inspired by the Bengals Color Rush uniforms.

“Utilizing the fan-favorite, flooded-white Nike Color Rush uniform as the base, our goal was to modernize the Bengals’ uniform as a bold, aggressive and timeless design,” Nike said in a statement.

“We observed real-life Bengal tigers in motion and redrew the uniform’s stripes to mirror the tiger’s movements while stalking its prey. The result is a faster on-field expression for one of the league’s most distinctive uniforms.”

The Color Rush uniforms have been fan-favorites in Cincinnati since being introduced, so it came as no surprise that there was positive feedback.

Among those who were fond of the new look was star quarterback Joe Burrow, who shared his thoughts on the team’s threads.

“These uniforms excite me,” Burrow said. “They’re cool. I think the fans will like them and they’ll be good for us. “The guys that are here are the kind of people that are going to take this organization to where we want to go. We’re the future. It’s going to be a fun ride.

Star running back Joe Mixon also gave the new look his stamp of approval.

Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if the Bengals can bring an improved record to go with their new look.
