Elon Musk’s Neuralink, an artificial intelligence company focused on microchips placed in human brains, has a long way to go. However, it is showing some early promise after a recent experiment with a monkey.
According to the company, a 9-year-old monkey named Pager was able to play the video game “Pong” simply by controlling everything with his mind.
The monkey had a Nueralink chip placed on each side of his brain six weeks ago before being able to control the game.

From TMZ:
When Pager moves the joystick correctly, he gets some smoothie, and all the while … the Neuralink chips are recording his brain activity for analysis of what his brain does when he moves his hand. Then, the joystick’s unplugged … and the monkey’s technically controlling the game with his mind, even though he’s still moving the joystick out of habit.
Eventually, Neuralink hopes to move on to humans and allow us to control different products with our minds.
Elon Musk really is the real-life Iron Man.
