Houston Texans General Manager Nick Caserio is finally breaking his silence on the mounting sexual misconduct allegations against star quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Watson is facing 19 lawsuits from women alleging sexual misconduct.
The only comment the Texans had previously given regarding the allegations was a generic statement that they were aware of the situation. But now, Caserio is directly sharing his thoughts.
Caserio’s comments were made on the team’s “Texans All Access” podcast this week.
Texans GM Nick Caserio on Deshaun Watson situation: "It's a legal process … We certainly take them very seriously. The allegations, what's been discussed, are certainly troubling. Organizationally that's not something that we can condone … those types of actions." pic.twitter.com/rdkfieeLda

“It’s a legal situation, a legal process and we’re respectful of that. We certainly take them very seriously,” Caserio said. “The allegations, what’s been discussed, are certainly troubling.
“Organizationally that’s not something that we can condone … those types of actions, but again, we’ll let the legal process take care of itself and however it’s going to unfold we’ll certainly comply and do what we can to try and help and facilitate a resolution for everybody.”
Watson has adamantly denied the allegations and any wrongdoing.
His attorney Rusty Hardin has also condemned the media coverage of the lawsuits and is asking everyone to wait for all of the information to be available before making any judgment.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, but it’s safe to say Watson’s future with the franchise is up in the air.
