John Geddert, an ex-Team USA gymnastics coach who led the legendary 2012 Olympic team, has been charged with human trafficking and sexual assault.
Geddert, who coached the Fierce Five made up of Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, and Jordyn Wieber in London, faces life in prison for the charges.
The 63-year-old is facing 20 counts of human trafficking, two counts of sexual assault, one count of racketeering, and one count of lying to a peace officer, according to TMZ Sports.
While exact allegations and details have not been announced, Geddert is accused of sexually assaulting an unidentified person between the age of 13 and 16 in 2012.
Geddert was previously believed to have lied to prosecutors about the misconduct from disgraced Team USA doctor Larry Nassar.

As for the Larry Nassar connection … Nassar was the team doctor for the 2012 gymnastics team. Nassar also treated gymnast at the Michigan gym “Twistars,” which was owned by Geddert and his wife until they sold it just a few weeks ago.
