Tennessee Vols Football: UCF’s Josh Heupel To Be Next Head Coach

The Tennessee Vols football program has zeroed in on its next head coach.

After Jeremy Pruitt and multiple assistants were fired following an investigation into alleged recruiting violations within the program, the team immediately begin its search for his replacement.

Now, according to a report from ESPN.com, the Vols have zeroed in on UCF’s Josh Heupel and plan on naming him the next head coach.

Tennessee athletic director Danny White previously hired Heupel when he was the UCF athletic director.

During his time at UCF, Heupel is 28-8 with the Knights.
