The NBA’s tradition on Martin Luther King Jr. Day continues with a full slate of games beginning at 12:00 p.m. ET. In total, nine games will be played.
Of the nine games, five will be televised with a doubleheader on NBA TV and a tripleheader on TNT.
Kicking off the action at noon is a meeting between the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks followed by a game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks.
The first game of the TNT tripleheader features the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies, while the Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers serves as the nightcap. Sandwiched in the middle is an intriguing matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets.

Another game that was supposed to take place on Monday was a meeting between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards. However, the game was postponed because Washington does not have the minimum number of players required due to COVID-19 contact tracing.
“We have nine players right now that are in protocol. Six have tested positive for COVID-19,” Wizards general manager Tommy Sheppard said in a statement.
“We are certainly not gonna be able to play these games on Sunday and Monday. … It’s just an unfortunate set of circumstances.”
