Alabama football fans were eager to celebrate their latest national championship win and did so by storming the streets of Tuscaloosa after knocking off the Ohio State Buckeyes on Monday night.
The Crimson Tide faithful flooded the streets — much to the dismay of people supportive of COVID-19 protocols and safety measures — but it was one fan who really went above and beyond to celebrate his team’s big win.
One fan decided to hilariously dress up as Forrest Gump, the former All-American Crimson Tide “star” portrayed by Tom Hanks, before running through town with the signature beard, red shorts, and hat from Gump’s run across America.
Of course, there is visual evidence.

According to Twitter users, this isn’t the first time that the “Forrest Gump” run has been done in Tuscaloosa this season. You can see that photo here.
If there’s one thing you have to be impressed by, it’s that level of dedication.
