Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh is reportedly looking to move on from Ann Arbor.
According to the latest reports, Harbaugh is “actively” seeking an opportunity to return to the National Football League after spending the last few seasons leading the Wolverines.
Because of his hope of returning to the NFL, Harbaugh has been putting off signing a new deal in Michigan.
“A source tells me Jim Harbaugh has been actively working to find a NFL job. That has been the #1 thing holding him up on him signing an extension at Michigan,” Jordan Strack of WTOL 11 wrote on Twitter.
“This isn’t exactly the most shocking news, but his desire right now is certainly to return to the NFL.”

Prior to taking over at Michigan in 2014, Harbaugh had success as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. During his time in the NFC West, Harbaugh led the team to a Super Bowl appearance and a 44-19-1 record in four years.
