In a recent interview, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones shared his thoughts on the future of head coach Mike McCarthy.
In a bit of a surprise, Jones expressed his confidence in McCarthy and appeared to indicate that he will be returning to the sidelines next season.
“How ridiculous is this conversation in terms of having any meat on the bone?” Jones said. “I don’t think I ever dreamed of Mike not being the coach.”
Speaking on 105.3 The Fan, Jerry Jones sounded incredulous that Mike McCarthy’s future was even a question after 13 games. “How ridiculous is this conversation in terms of having any meat on the bone?” Jones said. “I don’t think I ever dreamed of Mike not being the coach.”

Dallas is currently 4-9 this year.
