Freak show boxing matches are not going anywhere.
Thanks to Logan and Jake Paul and their wildly successful pay-per-views, athletes and celebrities have been lining up for an opportunity to land a major payday.
But while there have been plenty of potential suitors, no one was ready for what was about to happen over the weekend.
Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather, who has not fought since August 2017, announced that he would be returning to action for an exhibition match against YouTuber Logan Paul. The event will air live on Fanmio pay-per-view on February 20.

Paul’s brother, Jake Paul, recently knocked out former NBA Dunk Champion Nate Robinson on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view.
Logan Paul, meanwhile, has not fought inside of the squared circle since last year when he lost a six-round split decision to fellow YouTuber KSI.
So what is the driving force behind this latest spectacle? One answer: money.
If there’s one thing we know about Mayweather, it is that he will never pass up an easy pay day. Will this bout be more of a sparring session like the Tyson – Jones bout? Of course, but will people still be watching? Unfortunately.
We will have to see what the boxing purists have to say about this.
