This weekend’s Michigan-Maryland football game is the latest casualty of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the game between the Wolverines and Terrapins has been canceled due to COVID-19. A positive COVID-19 test within the Michigan football program triggered the cancellation.
It is Michigan’s first canceled game of the year.
“Sources: Michigan’s game with Maryland this weekend is off,” Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports wrote on Twitter. “There’s COVID-19 issues at Michigan.”
