Nick Saban has tested positive for COVID-19… again.

On Wednesday, the Alabama football program announced that Saban has tested positive for the second time this season. Unlike the first time, however, the head coach is now symptomatic.

Alabama’s athletic director, Greg Byrne, also tested positive, the school announced.

As a result of his positive test, Saban will not coach in the Iron Bowl this weekend against the rival Auburn Tigers.

“Both immediately left the facility and went to their homes to self-isolate after receiving that information,” Dr. Jimmy Robinson, Alabama’s team doctor, and Jeff Allen, the football team’s head athletic trainer, said in a statement, via the New York Times.

“At this point in time, the positive tests are limited to those two individuals. All individuals who are considered high-risk contacts have been notified and will follow quarantine guidelines.”

Alabama and Auburn are set to kickoff at Bryant–Denny Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
