Mike Tyson recently sat down with Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance for the UFC Jeff Novtisky for the latest episode of his Hotboxin’ podcast.
During the interview, Tyson revealed a wild and hilarious story about the lengths he went during his boxing career to pass drug tests.
Tyson admitted that he used a prosthetic penis — aka a whizzinator — to pass a test and that it was his baby’s urine inside.
“It was awesome, man,” Tyson said, via MMA Mania. “I put my baby’s urine in it. And sometimes, one time I was using my wife’s and my wife was like ‘Baby you better not hope that it comes back pregnant or something.’ And I said nah, so we ain’t gonna use you any more, we’re gonna use the kid. ‘Cause I got scared that the piss might come back pregnant.”
Novitsky noted that a fighter has returned a urine sample before that showed he was pregnant — tipping off testers that he was trying to manipulate the results.
“I think that’s happened before,” Novitzky said. “A male provided a urine sample and it came back and they said ‘Sir, you’re pregnant. Either you’re pregnant or this is somebody else’s urine.’”
Tyson never failed a drug test during his boxing career, and now we know why.
