Sports are back. Leagues are beginning to head to their bubbles to restart play following the shutdown forced by the coronavirus pandemic, and the MLS is one of the first to return to action.
MLS players are arriving at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort ahead of the MLS is Back Tournament and you’d expect accommodations at Disney World for top-tier athletes would be impressive.
Well, not so fast, my friends.
The meals sound legit with options like “house roasted prime new york strip loin, horseradish creme fraiche, brilliant-savarin cheese, black batard or bourbon-glazed smoked Virginia ham, alpine swiss cheese, dijon mustard, caraway kaiser” sandwiches, but they definitely don’t live up to the hype.
You could get a better sandwich at your favorite bodega. Papi would NEVER disrespect you the way that MLS is disrespecting its athletes who are traveling to play during a worldwide pandemic.

Seriously, what is that?
If you were thinking that Omar Gonzalez just happened to get the short end of the stick, well, things didn’t get any better as we saw more photos of the meals.

Of course, this had led to comparisons to the embarrassing meals that festival-goers were receiving at the disaster that was Fyre Fest.
That’s not a good look, MLS.
Looks good to me. You need a water with that? pic.twitter.com/ytxsT8hRfX

Can you imagine what will happen if the NBA tries to pull a stunt like this?
