Chicago Bulls big man Luke Kornet’s mom made Twitter headlines Sunday night when Tracy Kornet jokingly said that was her, the yelling Indiana Pacers fan, during the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals. The bad news: she was definitely joking, but her tweet took off and now people think Tracy was angry Pacers Karen. That WAS NOT Tracy Kornet. The Nashville news anchor had some fun with the joke, but then she had to clarify.

Tracy had to let the cat out of the bag once things got a little too deep and the blue checkmarks started asking questions. Kinda wish Tracy would’ve kept the story going at least for a day or so.
.@WSMVTracyKornet, mother of Bulls center Luke Kornet, tells @TheAthleticIND she is NOT the Pacers fan in episode 9.
But her phone is blowing up because of the uncanny resemblance. pic.twitter.com/bqt6CErdmO

You were awesome to ask. Yes, NOT ME. But the 🔥 minus the F-bombs & taking the Lord’s name in vain (never ok, kids!) is 💯. 🤣🤣🤣 #TheLastDance https://t.co/y1972jvc5K

The fired up Pacers fan barking behind the Bulls bench? @WSMVTracyKornet explains that while even her family had to do a double-take. it was not her. #TheLastDance pic.twitter.com/MYCt88h5E7
