In case you thought Baker Mayfield — or his wife — would slow down with creating drama around the Cleveland Browns, the fans or the media, I have news for you. These two can’t stop, won’t stop. Six days after Baker Mayfield’s wife, Emily, had words for Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot, Baker came out after today’s win over the Bengals and threw the Browns training staff on the railroad tracks and then drove the massive train right over their helpless bodies.
Questioned about Odell Beckham Jr. playing through a sports hernia injury, Bake had this to say about the Browns training staff. “I’d say it wasn’t handled right,” Bake said. “It wasn’t handled the right way in our training room.” He added that if OBJ had hernia surgery before the season he would’ve missed maybe two games. And now Bake is a trainer. He’s also GM. Hired the head coach.
I know Browns fans would take a bullet for Bake, and besides a subpar second season, he hasn’t done anything to make the fans turn on him. That said, at some point this kind of stuff is going to get old for all involved. The eventual divorce is going to be messy. Take the W and go get a nice dinner my man.

This guy will be gone after this season:

And of course Bake came out with this after a backlash that he had to clean up:
Those people within our building know my intentions and where I am coming from. I truly believe that and I apologize to those that don’t deserve the backlash…. today was a good team win. On to the next one.
