Remember Grady Sizemore? Of course you do because he was the Indians outfielder who carried your fantasy baseball team (back when you actually played) from 2006-2008. Eventually the wheels fell off and he somehow stuck around baseball until 2015 when he finally retired at just 32 years of age. He managed to make $30,851,631 in salary and get 9 years of MLB service, which means he’ll get a nice pension.
Now, according to the L.A. Times, Grady is back in the news and is selling his Arizona house at a $400,000 loss from what he paid for it back in 2006. Looks like the pool area could use a little bit of help from Vanilla Ice or the Pool Kings on HGTV. Looking a little old.
Located in the private neighborhood of Vista Monterey, this fantastic home is ready for its next host! Spaciously positioned on a lot backing the wash, this 3900+ sqft home is one you don’t want to miss. Freshly updated with new paint, dishwasher, and ovens, BOTH AC units have been replaced in addition to the pool pump and heater.
The backyard oasis is truly spectacular. Whether you’re enjoying the evening in your heated pool or spa, grilling at the detached Ramada or enjoying the sunset views over the city from the viewing deck, this home has it all! Step back inside and catch a game in your own private theatre or sit back and kick your feet up at either of the fire places and enjoy a glass of wine from your private 100+ bottle wine room!
With a separate formal dining space it is perfect for those Taco Tuesdays or holiday meals! This 4 bed, 3.25 bath PLUS a home theatre & office is truly spectacular.
I’m not sure if this is the same house where the Grady coffee cup selfie photo was taken, but this is a good chance to run that pic again. Been a long time since this was on BC.
