Michael Strahan’s ex-wife Jean Muggli Strahan reportedly settled her divorce from the NFL great for $15.3 million and $18,000 per month child support for two daughters, but now there’s a report that Jean has hauled Strahan back to court and wants their divorce settlement modified, according to TMZ.
Sources connected to Jean claim she is indeed seeking back support. One source described it as certain “obligations” Strahan has failed to cover, even though their 2009 settlement calls for him to do so.
However, sources in Michael’s world tell us the suit Jean filed in NY is NOT an effort to enforce unpaid support, instead it is a suit to “modify” their prior settlement — meaning increase the monthly payments. We’re also told Jean filed the same suit last year in North Carolina — where she lives with their girls — but there’s been no decision yet in that state.
She wants more child support for the girls. According to her Facebook, Jean and the girls live in Wilmington, North Carolina and Jean is “President/Domestic Engineer at Strahan Family INC.” Sounds to me that’s a single mom job where she manages a household that brings in $216,000 in revenue each year to survive on.
I’m not sure what Jean does with all the money, but she seems to have horses. Maybe they’re eating more hay than ever. Idk.
