I about fainted after opening Linda Holliday’s Instagram Story this morning and discovering that Bill Belichick was smiling for photos this week at a joint training camp in Nashville with the Titans. This is either a sign that Bill’s about to end the career of a 10-year vet who’s feeling all secure by trading him to the Dolphins or it’s a sign that Bill is nearing the end of the Hoodie run.
I’m leaning to the latter. This just might be a Hoodie that has taken his foot off the gas after winning the Super Bowl and I’m having a hard time dealing with this variation of Hoodie. His sleeves aren’t even cut off in these camp photos. Smiling and didn’t shred his pullover. THIS IS ODD BEHAVIOR.
Trust me, I’d be asking about the smiling if I was a credentialed member of the New England media. “Bill, I noticed you’ve been smiling in camp photos. What’s up with that?” Big Js have to ask him about it. It’s absolutely a story. Has Bill Belichick lost his edge? Has Belichick ended the Hoodie persona?
Or maybe he knows Eric Saubert, his latest dumpster dive find, is about to be an All-Pro, Gronk’s replacement and a Super Bowl winner. The minute Belichick is smiling for photos inside the confines of a training camp is the minute you better be on guard. He’ll probably end up fleecing the Titans out of a hall of famer or something that extreme.
