If you thought the wild training camp entrances from Steelers wide receivers would be over now that Antonio Brown is in Oakland (came in via helicopter in 2018) you’d be wrong thanks to little used Eli Rogers who played in three games last season after being activated from the PUP list. Eli, who had 12 receptions for 79 yards in 2018, entered Steelers camp in Latrobe, PA via big rig and he was carrying a curl bar.
Eli is clearly ready to be a lunch pail kind of guy, do whatever it takes to win, give 110% effort kind of guy. You don’t go overalls and hard hat if you’re planning on getting cut after four years of service to the Steelers organization. The haters will say Eli should’ve just driven a Ford pickup into the lot and laid low.
Us content guys love this kind of entrance. Name the last time you saw a guy bring in a curl bar via semi to training camp. I’ve seen a few entrances but nothing like this since starting BC.
