It was just a matter of time before a Jeopardy Kate came along with some serious disgust with Jeopardy James and his absolute destruction of a game where contestants used to risk like $3,000 on Daily Doubles. I’m not going to go ruining the whole show for the West Coast people because I’ll get death threats, but Jeopardy James went back-to-back tonight with the Daily Doubles and sucked the life out of Jeopardy Kate and some other guy who put up a fight, but not nearly enough to take down the champ.
By now you guys know how this goes — if James gets his hands on a Daily Double, you’re doomed. Kate, looking like she was disgusted to finally get on Jeopardy and get placed next to the guy who will go down as the greatest of all time (he’s now into the Tournament of Champions and beats Ken Jennings in pretty much every statistical category).
Think about this for a minute…through 24 games played Jeopardy James has won $,1867,142; Jennings won $774,960 over the same 24-game period.

I mean, I really do feel bad for all #jeopardy contestants who aren't James right now, but I'm not sure that excuses Kate giving him the Stinkeye of Death pretty much from the moment the lights came up. OTOH I can't say I wouldn't have done the same. (It didn't work anyway.)
