Zachary Madsen, from Lincoln, Nebraska was arrested Saturday night for attacking Bret Hart while the Hitman gave a WWE Hall of Fame speech at the Barclays Center. Madsen, who is an amateur MMA fighter, took a couple punches during the resulting melee from real MMA guy Travis Browne, who is Ronda Rousey’s husband.

Court records indicate that Madsen, who is an amateur MMA fighter, was arrested multiple times in Lincoln in December and January and charged with violating a protection order and stalking, both misdemeanors, after he made threats in person and on social media toward another MAA fighter. Madsen was awaiting trial in that case.
At Saturday’s event, Madsen ran toward the ring from the crowd, spectator Alan Fisher told The Associated Press.
Madsen, appearing to have a little damage to the side of his face, had a court date Sunday and told the court “just felt like it was the right moment.” It was also revealed this weekend that Madsen had also been in trouble for stalking mixed martial artist Haris Talundzic.
