On Tuesday I showed you guys a Bengals tailgating trailer that was pretty bare bones and it was on the market for $3,000. I said you’d be smart to beat the guy down in price on that one. Now comes a Minnesota Vikings tailgating RV for $3,950 and it’s clearly being sold by a Vikings fan that has been taking great care of his tailgating pride & joy. As the Vikings seller states in his listing, the motor in this bad boy is worth $2,000. Do the math here guys.
Looking to get into the Vikings tailgating game with one of the best branded RVs on the road? This purple monster should have plenty of room for you & your drunken friends to crash after a late December game against the Bears when it’s 25-below in Minneapolis.
I hate to sell her but I’m building a custom tailgating trailer for next year and need to let her go. We normally host folks from all over the US and even the world through popular Viking forums. The group is getting a bit too big for this guy and selling it will help fund my next adventure.
This is your chance to own the “Purple Havoc”. A tailgating RV that is absolutely ready for next season as-is or a starting point for your next remodel. She has been in service for at least 6 years now.
She started as a 1987 Fleetwood Pace Arrow based on the Chevy chassis. She has the 454 engine which by itself is worth $2K. I’m not the gear head but my friend is and he drools over it. Uses regular gas and has good brakes and good tires. I put around 500 miles/year on her.
It also has a built in generator that works perfectly. It starts it right from the front dash. I use a quieter propane generator so I don’t use it but run it a few times a year to keep things fresh. We have upgraded the electrical and outlets, LED lighting, redid the roof and updated the paneling on the walls. Batteries are in great shape. She is water tight and ready to go! Did I mention it is decked out in all Vikings Gear?
Willing to part ways with any of our accessories at extra cost with the purchase of the RV.
Like our team, she has plenty of imperfections as well but also like our team she is there when we need her. She has been part of some of the coldest games ever from the heart breaking -20 Seahawks “wide left” kick to last year’s -15 game and the snowy Minnesota Miracle.
Worried about where to park or not a season ticket holder? We have about 5 spots next to us available in a private lot which costs $50/spot/game (you will need 3 spots for this). Buy this RV and we will give you all the details.
That’s some of the best Craigslist writing I’ve ever seen and we’ve posted hundreds and hundreds of these posts over the years. I’ve seen pretty much everything and this guy nailed it. I’d feel comfortable buying from this guy.via Craigslist via Craigslist via Craigslist
