A BC fan who wishes to remain anonymous was walking through a Las Vegas casino last night and happened upon Josh Rosen playing roulette just minding his business and not drawing much attention even though he’s the Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback – for now until they draft Kyler Murray.
I picture Rosen playing singles inside, probably 10 chips per number. I’m thinking he plays his birthday – 2/10 – and his jersey number 3 before spreading chips around the field. I learned years ago that someone sitting in that position of the roulette table is usually playing inside and has time to waste. The old timers standing up are more than likely playing outside and it’s highly likely they’re color bettors. That said, I’m definitely not a roulette expert by any stretch. I would prefer to take my money over to the craps table where I’m also not an expert, but I like the atmosphere much better.
Anyway, if you’re in Vegas, there’s a chance you’ll run into Rosen at a roulette table this weekend during the Madness. I assume he’s staying until Sunday morning and then getting out of there.
