Some @Saints bars in New Orleans won't show #SBLIII
Instead they will show the 2010 Super Bowl victory over the Colts 🏆

So we all know how controversial the ending of that Saints-Rams game was. Naturally, Saints fans are pissed about the missed pass interference/helmet to helmet/attempted murder at the end of the game. They are protesting the Super Bowl, and even asking Roger Goodell to replay the game from the time of the penalty.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has the authority to take certain steps in the event of “extraordinarily unfair acts” that occur during a game and have an effect of the result. One of those steps would be to negate the outcome and play the game again. https://t.co/OJ9fhoBNNI

Preposterous that this rule even exists in the first place. But obviously, that would never happen. What happened in the game is the final outcome, but Saints fans are not taking that well.
Two Saints season-ticket holders are reportedly suing NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the league for a range of damages — including mental anguish, emotional trauma and "loss of enjoyment of life." https://t.co/QszcsKCgI9

Some people are calling these Saints fans babies and telling them they need to handle their loss with “more class.” To that, I say, BOOOOOOO.
I love what the Saints are doing. This is what sports are all about. If you think your team unjustly had this game ripped from them then you do whatever you need to do to make things right in your mind. It’s their hard earned money and if they want to spend it on billboards and lawyer fees to attack the NFL, then more power to them.
Now one group that is probably as mad as anybody about this outcome is local New Orleans bar owners. The Super Bowl not only brings in a ton of income for the city where the Super Bowl is located but also for the cities of the Super Bowl teams. Realistically, most people can’t afford to go to the Super Bowl, which means they would go to a bar for the game, especially in a party city like New Orleans. Well, N’Awlins bartenders aren’t gonna lie down and take it from Goodell either.

Good for Tracey’s. Any Saints fan who decides to go back and watch their old Super Bowl win instead of the actual Super Bowl is completely justified in doing so. I don’t blame them one bit. I know at the Casa de Blakey Locks we will also be protesting the Super Bowl since the Jets are not in it.
At my house we will be showing the 2010 Jets divisional round win over the Patriots during the Super Bowl. $100 cover charge https://t.co/PjWRfkK5IN

If you are in the Columbia, SC area feel free to come by and enjoy that game with me. If you’d like to join in you can watch it at your own house or I encourage you to watch highlights of a big game that your team has already won. No need to worry about the real game.
