Think about the Tom Brady era for a minute
Think about some of the quarterbacks he’s had to beat to get home field advantage throughout and the quarterbacks he’s had to beat in his division and quarterbacks he’s had to beat in the divisional round and the quarterbacks in the AFC title game. Not that Tommy isn’t great. That’s not debatable. But some of these guys who’ve had shots at Tommy have totally shitt the bed against that team over the years. Or in the case of the Chargers, the defense just got its ass kicked by a 41 year old. All Tommy did was go 34 of 44 for 343 and a touchdown. Now we get the Patrick Mahomes era…if a team can finally climb over that mountain.
