If you thought Baker Mayfield would back down from his Hue Jackson comments after the Browns beat the Bengals, that was put to rest today when Mayfield had words for ESPN’s Damien Woody who told Mayfield to “grow up” after the Browns QB said he didn’t like it that Hue Jackson took a job with the Bengals so soon after being fired by the Browns.
Many people are comparing Mayfield leaving Texas Tech and going to Oklahoma as Hue going to Cincinnati. Mayfield wasn’t having it and shut it down real fast.
“Not even comparable…I didn’t lose 30+ games be fake and then do that…I wasn’t gonna have a scholarship. Good try though buddy.”
It appears Baker is here to cash some checks now that things are rolling for the Browns and they have back-to-back wins.
