Pike Central product @_belkins4 broke a 27-year-old record Saturday when he booted a 78 yard punt. Previous record was set in 1991 when Brendon Miller launched a 74-yarder against Georgetown. Bradley Elkins from Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky has breakout star of 2018 written all over that beautiful mullet that he’s sporting. It helps that Bradley is also a punter, wide receiver, punt returner, kickoff returner, former defensive player and now has a record 78-yard punt for Union.
Throw in a lady killer mustache and you have the makings of a guy who, if he plays his cards right, just might gain some serious social media attention in a content starved environment where a mullet and stache can carry you for months.
Elkins, an education major, appeared in 10 games in 2017 and passed the 80 career receptions mark.
