Ronald Vizcaino of Spain is probably going to go viral this weekend because he’s the 6’1″ 248-pound first baseman who is still 12 and probably gets carded whenever he steps on a baseball field. Now keep in mind that he’s in 8th grade. Think of all the 8th graders getting scholarship offers from Bama and Clemson. After you start thinking about that, it’s not that crazy to see a massive linebacker playing baseball in Williamsport.
Here’s the big question of the weekend: Will Nick Saban offer this kid a scholarship before he gets back on that plane for home? Will Ronald end up at the IMG Academy just from this Little League World Series? Let’s not forget that Nick recently offered a 6-8, 375 pound recent 8th grad graduate.
Not out of the equation for Ronald to make some scholarship money.
