Watch This Umpire Casually Pull A Giant Moth Out Of His Ear

Yep, that’s MLB umpire Bruce Dreckman casually pulling A LIVE MOTH out of ear during last night’s Yankees-White Sox game. By the looks of Bruce’s face here, it apparently was just your typical Wednesday night for him.

He was 8 innings deep into the game at this point and felt something crawling around DEEP inside his ear to the point where he needed tweezers to dig around in there to find the little guy. Then once he found him, he just pulled it out like it was no biggie and handed to the horrified trainer. Like it was something that happens to him regularly. I think most of us can probably relate to the trainer who clearly couldn’t believe this giant bug just came out of buddy’s ear here.

And how about Bruce trotting back out there to finish the game like a champ and not showing an ounce of terror during the entire process?

A MOTH got stuck in the umpire's ear 😳

That’s just not something you see every day. I mean look at the size of that thing! I just can’t get over Bruce’s casual reaction to the whole situation. I don’t think I ever will.

Yikes. So, at the Yankees – White Sox game, a moth got into umpire Bruce Dreckman's ear. #Yankees trainer Steve Donohue managed to get it out of is and the damn moth was still flapping its wings. The horror.
