Blake Griffin, it’s time to fire your lawyer. I don’t care how rich you are or what kind of contract extension you signed last summer, nobody should be writing a $258,000 check every month to their ex for child support. That’s a cool $3 million a year, folks.
This report comes from Radar Online, who obtained documents from Griffin’s paternity case with his ex, Brynn Cameron, a former USC basketball player. As always, shit started to go south for Blake when a Jenner/Kardashian got involved.
Radar Online – Kendall Jenner‘s ex Blake Griffin. has to fork up $258,000 per month in support for his two young children with baby mama Brynn Cameron, according to court documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.
Griffin and Cameron have been embroiled in a nasty paternity case and a separate civil suit where Cameron claimed the NBA star broke off their engagement shortly after he started dating Jenner, when he was still part of the Los Angeles Clippers.
In court documents, Cameron claimed Griffin booted her and their two children, Ford, 5, and Finn, 2 from his $12 million Pacific Palisades mansion. In a January declaration, Cameron said she was “reduced to being homeless,” and only had $100 in her personal bank account.
Just to put this in perpective for a second, Isaiah Thomas is set to make about a million less next season than Brynn. We could even throw in Derrick Rose’s contract for fun and she’d STILL be making more money than them combined. You can go look at the NBA salaries and see a laundry list of recognizable names that will be making less money than Blake Griffin’s baby mama. What kind of super-lawyer is Brynn Cameron working with here?
Let’s do the math for a second: his kids are 5 and 2, that means he’s paying this for at least another 16 years. That adds up to 192 months of writing that fat check, which equals a grand total of $49.5 MILLION he will be paying her over the next 16 years.
