I’d imagine that pummeling Draymond Green is a dream for a lot of players in the NBA, but no one in the league actually has the sack to do it and deal with a suspension. That being said, there’s a rumor swirling that Tristan Thompson may now be the players’ champion after allegedly hitting Draymond, who he feuded with during the NBA Finals, with a two-punch combo at an ESPYS after party.
According to Bossip, LeBron James and Kevin Durant were present and put a stop to the brouhaha:
The players got into a big fight earlier this month inside LA nightspot Delilah, multiple sources told BOSSIP. Both ballers were in the nightclub for a private party after the ESPY Awards July 18th, and we’re told that Thompson – dad of baby girl True with Khloe Kardashian – socked Green with a two-piece, getting the better of the NBA Champion.
And it was none other than their fellow teammates LeBron James and Kevin Durant that quickly stepped in to break up the fracas, we’re told. James apparently had enough and left the party shortly after the alleged incident.
TBL’s Jason McIntyre tweets Draymond was trying to apologize for acting like an asshole at the Finals, but Tristan wasn’t having it:
Tristan and Draymond, of course, had their issues after Tristan was ejected from Game 1:
And again after Game 4:
Draymond Green after Game 4 of the NBA Finals wouldn’t shake Tristan Thompson’s hand and said “I don’t f**k with you”

You may recall Draymond was yapping and yapping postgame, telling the media that Tristan can meet up with him in the summer if he has a problem (via Mercury News):
“I can’t meet him outside of (Oracle Arena), because I’ll still get fined,” Green said. “But I can meet him in the streets any day. So you can say somebody (should) meet you at the bus, (but) I’m not (going). I’m going to keep taking care of my family. I’m not going to meet you at the bus.”
Green, however, said in a few weeks he won’t be so restrictive.
“The summers, you can meet anybody anywhere,” Green said. “So all that ‘Meet me outside, meet me at the bus,’ like I ain’t interested in giving up no money for that. But if you want to see me somewhere else, that’s fine – anytime.”
