Devin Booker Upset The Suns Cut BFF Tyler Ulis

Devin Booker has won a sad total of 68 games in his three seasons with the Phoenix Suns, so one would assume he’s all about the offseason moves the team has made thus far. They drafted/traded for a solid trio of prospects in DeAndre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, and Elie Okobo, and started free agency by stealing Trevor Ariza from the Rockets. Things should be looking up for Book in the Valley of the Sun.

Not so fast.

The Suns waived Tyler Ulis on Saturday to free up some cap space, and that move apparently has Booker all up in his feelings:

Sources: As he becomes eligible for five-year maximum rookie extension, Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker is upset with the front office over release of best friend Tyler Ulis, who started 43 games last season.

Booker and Ulis go way back as they met in middle school and played college ball together at Kentucky before reuniting in the NBA.

The Suns really do need point guard help so perhaps they can soften the blow by acquiring another one of Booker’s friends (D’Angelo Russell).

Don’t go at Booker on IG:
