Justin Morneau Is Selling His Minnesota-y Mansion

Here I had no idea that Justin Morneau was out of baseball. That’s what happens when you don’t watch baseball until October because the rest of the regular season is a complete bore-fest and makes me miserable because I’ll see some great moment happen in the crowd, want to tweet it out and then remember that MLB lawyers will have my ass in a vise by the next morning.
So I stopped caring about baseball. Things got so restrictive that it didn’t feel fun anymore so why care about it all.
Anyway, Justin Morneau is selling his Minnesota house and it’s very Minnesota-y. There’s a creek. There are big trees. You’ll feel all woodsy in this one with 6500 sq. ft. that can be yours for just $1.675 million.
From Justin Morneau’s realtor:

Estate-like 2008 Arts & Crafts Two Story home. Immaculate and luxurious, bring your fussiest buyers. Private security gate, acreage lot with creek and trees, feels like up north. Steps to Medicine Lake and Luce Line Trail. Three levels finished, luxury appointments. Master suite on main level, huge walk-in California closet. Chef’s kitchen. 12-foot ceilings master and living room. 4 beds upstairs. Lower level entertaining dream w/ ornate wood and stone details, wet bar, wine room etc.

Love the stone. Love the details, but where is the man cave where you and the boys can let loose after a big Vikings win? I see too many touches in that basement that have female hands all over them. Carpet? Are you kidding me? How are you and the boys supposed to get LIT AF after a miraculous catch to go to the NFC title game?
And one TV isn’t going to get the job done. It was like Morneau was living in 2005 or something. Crazy to think that a guy who made $96M in his career was living like that.
Mortgage: You’re talking about $10k/mo. with minimal down on this two story
