New York’s version of the Clippers is dealing with the same old demoralizing stories this season: injuries on top of injuries, failure to muster up runs for ace Jacob deGrom, and playing washed vets like Jose Reyes over Amed Rosario. Expect to see more of this as the season rolls along, especially if aces Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard get traded before the deadline.
