Odell Beckham Jr has been hosting his own youth football camp this weekend and, as you can see above, has apparently been surrounded by a bunch of mini Odells all weekend. Just hundred of kids running around rocking the curly hightop bleached fade. Must be weird.
These camps are pretty straightforward. You run the kids through some drills, teach them some fundamentals and then basically put on a show for them. At basketball camps, they might do a dunk contest or play one on one and maybe swat a couple kids’ shots to the moon. At these football camps, the kids will get to see OBJ run some routes and mix in some one-handed catches. You know, show these youngsters the talent up close.
What I did not expect, however, was this video of Odell letting loose on one. I didn’t know he had this kind of arm on him. I get that he’s super talented and probably could’ve been a professional soccer player if he really wanted to, but I can’t say I saw this cannon display coming.

That’s gotta be what, 80 yards on the fly? Were there any draft scouts there? They probably needed a new pair of slacks after this. Why haven’t the Giants thrown in an Antwaan Randal El type play for OBJ yet? The man has a HOSE.
